Crayola Photo Challenge- Pine Green

Although I've taken over 1,000 pictures in the last couple of months, I've totally neglected matching up the pictures with my crayola color assignments. I have a lot of catching up to do, but figure Thanksgiving weekend is the most perfect time to do that!

So be on the lookout for lots of photos- I hope!

Pine green was taken at my friend Jena & Chuck's wedding. A spectacular and magical Friday night in Topanga Canyon, surrounded by friends, family and love, I took this picture of Jena while she was getting ready to say "I do!" to the love of her life.

There's something so magical and special watching two people pledge their eternal love and devotion to one another. Jena is one of my most special friends in this world. I've known her since 1999 when fate intervened and we became roommates during a national student exchange program in Carson, California (I had no real concept of Los Angeles geography back then).

Jena and I have seen each other through good times and bad. And we've always been by each other's sides for all of it...no matter what. Our friendship has most definitely stood the test of time and I was so happy to be at her wedding and watch her and Chuck take that next step.

Jena was a beautiful and happy bride. Surrounded by the people who meant most to her (and her sister checking in virtually from New Jersey), she radiated and shined. And this picture captures all her beauty and happiness.
