365 Grateful- Day 252: 9/9/2014

I'm grateful to have wished my grandfather a happy 90th birthday. At 18/19 he was shot down in WWII and spent a year and a half as a POW inside Stalag 17. At the time, all he wanted was to make it to his 20th birthday. As he said tonight, he got 70 years on the Germans. (Thank you Meghan for the photo.)
