2014 Photography Challenge- A Moment in Time (7:00 a.m.)
Getting up closer to a more normal hour for me is so refreshing. But yesterday was super busy and I wasn't able to post this photo before day's end. So here you go. This was my view at 7:00 a.m. Even better? This is what I consider to be my backyard. In order to take this photo, all I had to do was walk one and a half blocks to Palisades Park. Yes. I realize how completely lucky I am.
I took a few different photos from this part of the park. One closer to the fence you see in the photo below which was more of a close-up of the ocean. And then another one I took of the Santa Monica Pier in the distance. But the sun wasn't cooperating yesterday morning, so the photo of the pier was just blah.
I went with the one below (because Steve-o picked it) and because I love the bench and the tree and that the ocean and the wispy cloudy sky with a bit of blue was the backdrop.
