Crayola Photo Challenge- Fuchsia

One of the biggest challenges with this color was learning to spell it correctly! Seriously, did you know the s isn't until the end of the word? I didn't.

This picture also represents to me exactly what I'm trying to do with my camera and taking pictures.

Getting outside. Experimenting. Trying new things. Getting excited about what I'm seeing through the lens of my camera. It's fun and making me very happy!

Steve was going on and on about the moon, which was bright and out for all to see well before the sun was setting. And as I was crouching down to capture these little flowers just so, I realized if I moved a teeny tiny bit, I could get the moon in here too. I did. And it made me fall totally in love with this photo and get really excited.

Taken poolside at Steve's Dad's house in Pacific Palisades overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

And this was a very close second.

For all of fuchsia (I still have to look to make sure I'm spelling it correctly), follow this link.
