Crayola Colors- Carnation Pink

From Crayola Photo Challenge- Carnation Pink

Taken along the Venice Canals in Venice, CA.

I was looking into what appeared to be a children's playroom. If you look closely on the left hand side of the picture, you can see the making of a children's hand print.

I spent nearly two hours, maybe more, wandering around the Venice Canals and taking over 250 pictures of trees, flowers, ducks, canals and reflections in the water. I'm finding that I'm paying so much more attention to colors and looking all around me to see what may fit in my Crayola challenge. I love how much more aware I am of my surroundings and everything I'm capturing on film!

Photographing the ducks offered me an opportunity to practice shutter priority and photographing flowers offered me an opportunity to practice aperture priority. I still have so much to learn, but I'm enjoying the opportunity to get out and see so much more around me!

I took a boatload of pictures for Carnation Pink and even had to edit down my Picasa album. Which you can check out here.
